Applica Test & Certification AS is Notified Body for the EMC, and the Radio Equipment (RED) directives and can issue Type Examination certificates. For Radio Equipment the scope is limited to some articles and equipment types.
We have recently invested in radio test equipment to provide necessary testing of radio products that are based on already certified radio modules. For such products we can provide necessary (un-accredited) safety (art. 3.1 a), EMC (art. 3.1b) and radio spectrum (art. 3.2) testing as basis for issuing RED EU Type Examination (RED certificate). In addition to other product related documentation as BOM’s, circuit diagrams, etc., provided by the client, this test documentation will be the basis for issuing Declaration of Conformity and do CE marking.
We are providing customer seminars to clarify Essential requirements of the directives and possible routes to CE-marking and Declaration of Conformity.
